OMG! i have a PC with those specs right next to me!

PSU: Corsair TX 750 or PC&C silencer 750W. They're more power than he'll need, but they both have really good warranties.

Case i'm not sure... make sure you raise the FSB one notch just to F with him.

As Mussels already mentioned, the Corsair 750TX and PC Power & Cooling 750W are excellent PSUs. If you're looking to save some money, the Corsair 650TX would also be a good choice.

A guy I work with said he tried Foxconn before and he thought the board was cheap. He said it felt really flimsy and he had issues getting it to work correctly - he said the customer service was decent - they were on the phone with him for a couple of hours trying to figure things out. He had to get the board replaced however. The replacement worked, but he said he just didn't like their quality (thought it was cheap)...I think he said this was 4 or 5 years back.

Perhaps they've improved since then? He's stuck with ASUS ever since.
