I just want to cool the CPU. Nothing crazy. Was looking at that unit from Corsair well that unit and maybe a water block from a different manufacture, as I'm not to sure about the foam rubber used in the installtion of the Corsair model. Any Ideas?

For the new rig i'm building. Plan on going with the E6600. Would like to stay in the $100 to $200 price rang if at all possible. This new machine is already going to give me a swift kick to the groin.:nutkick:

Swiftech makes the ONLY kit worth buying. Period. If you buy any other preassembled kit, it will dissapoint you. Building a custom system is always cheaper too.

I'm admittedly too much of a noob to do any "custum" building of any kind, especially water-cooling. At least for PC's. lol Building engines and that sort yea. this is a strange and wonderful "new' world for me

http://www.frozencpu.com/ex-wat-79.html?id=x88Ga4qU

2 Instock.
Will have to wait until the end of the month. i have $700+ saved so far. by then i should have enough for the mobo,(if and when the 590 SLI Intel edition comes out)the CPU, the PSU, the HDD and the memory and of course this sweet water cooling set-up. Then next month. It's the UPS, the keyboard/mouse, the DVD-rw, the monitor and the video cards. My chick is going to hate me because after this is done I'll be saving up for a Harley. Woohooo! lol

Nice! Yea this guy who comes in to the bar where I work let me ride his "chopper" that damn thing has one of those real wide tires on the back. It's extremely cool looking, but strange to ride. The front wheel looks like it's almost a mile in front of you. And the steerings real funny. Then I rode a regular HD, a softail. Man, what a user friendly bike! Comfortable, powerful . I'm sold. I got carried away I know this is for PC hardware not bikes, sorry fella's.

Just stay completely away from anything with less than 3/8" ID tubing. That 1/4" ID tubing junk won't do any better than air, and if you are only doing the CPU then 3/8" ID is good enough to start with.
