Game suggestion - for 15 y/o boy's birthday?

Reason for asking is because it's for my foster-bro... since he's severe ADHD...

He loves pc games, that's why I want to give him one.

He loves RPG's.

But I can't decide on an appropriate one - he beat Crysis and Warhead in less than a week (while I was struggling!) and on the other hand I sail through games like Oblivion and Fallout which he doesn't bear playing for more than 30 minutes... (He never played FO3)

Which good game can I buy him for his 15th birthday? Keeping in mind he's an otherwise normal 15 y/o boy but with a short attention span very impatient, and having the language/reading skills of an 8 y/o? :confused:

or maybe some call of duty?? for rpg i would say...last remnants?? or mass effect??

He sounds like me... tbh. I have such a hard time trying to play RPG's...

Try him out on TF2. L4D is a good suggestion.
Has he played halo 1 and 2? Because if he hasn't he might like them

(for the PC) Single player was fun for me at least.... I only played them on PC.

Also, send him over to www.instantaction.com and play fallen legions empire... it's a free game and I have a feeling he might like it, or the other games on the website.

He's got pc (2Ghz Sempron, 1GB RAM and 8600GTS) which runs Crysis ok @ 1024x768 medium/low, and also a PSP... But for him graphic quality isn't important...

While Left 4 Dead is repetitive, it gets no where near boring. It's a very social game so if he's not very social he will have to be

i agree,wow is bad for kids but his 15yrs old?? but since he has ADHD i'd say last remnants be nice choice or go for devil may cry 4

man you confused me, he loves RPGs but kicked ass at crysis/warhead and got bored with fallout and oblivion? sounds to me like he loves FPSs!

CALL OF DUTY 4 FOR THE WIN! When he gets into the multiplayer angle, oh yeah, he'll play endlessly, trust me.

i like playing the multiplayer but i get bored sometimes cos i don't have any laugh and serious sam is a fun game to play to and he does sound more of a FPS than RPG

Guild Wars is poor for solo play though and is almost dead in the servers (most times I try to finish EotN I find it dead). And don't tell me henches and heroes because that was never a good solution I found. I could beat things with it but it was boring as hell.

THats the best way to describe WoW... Lately it is way to addictive for the user (Not everyone, but there are a lot of cases kids killing them selves, or out of line with the future due to the game WoW) . . .

But sounds like First person shooters are best way to go. GO for Orange Box, or anything that goes with Steam, but if he likes the idea of RTS like WoW or GW, then by all means u should get it for him at a certain level of playing it..
