yellow line on monitor shows up every now and then

i have a yellow line that shows up on my monitor every now and then. i can sometimes make it go away by pressing down on the top part of the line on my monitor. sometimes it's gone, but sometimes it just comes right back up. the line shows up periodically from time to time.

Try a different v card and if it still happens get the LCD rmd'ed..

IF you do not have a spare v card get in touch with Samsung about it and who ever made you 4850 and see what either of them say...

ah i forgot to mention that it will do this regardless of the video card so i know the monitor is the problem. i tried calling samsung but i dont feel like being on hold with a machine for half my day.

Last time i phoned them took 3 minutes as i had to phone them to get a free 3 months warranty...

Try e-mailing them how ever you look at it it should be sent back, don't be messing up your warranty....
