I'm not talking about RC Version, I mean the release version. Should be able to get a key for that when it comes out right?

Wow really? 123? I see Microsoft nulling all accounts signed up in the past 2 days, nulling all keys too. The amount of people that just got free stuff, as this link is posted everywhere on the net. This'll probably cost them hundreds of thousands.

Yeah dont see why not, As bog and mussles have said its prob just the servers backed up.
But leave it for around 30 min mine come through fine after that.

I don't think they can do that. Even though they are giving it away, it is still a contractual obligation. If they violate it, some hungry law firm would tap their ass with a class action lawsuit. That's not to say that they might not investigate the people who signed up to make sure they are legit with legit addresses, etc and might suspend your license if they think you are even a little bit dodgy. But in terms of an outright repudiation, I don't think they can do that. Of course I didn't read the fine print, so I guess anything is possible.

Well, you don't need that many keys. It's just plain greed. I'm quite sure MS knows what's going on and I can see them negating accounts that are being abused. Especially since this is for business use and I'm quite sure you are doing this for personal use. Plus, you technically aren't supposed to get one of these free technet accounts living outside the US.

What is this activation stuff? I used my existing Windows live id and registered with the same email address. After that, I was able to go to the technet subscription managment site and dl to my hearts content.

Do you mean the initial email with your order number? I don't think you have to do anything for activation there. The only activation would be for the Windows live account - AFAIK. :confused:
