Hello,
Here is the thing. I got a few bucks to burn now and I want to improve temps in my water loop. ITs for my i7 rig in specs, it crunches 24/7 and here in Miami it gets a bit hot during the day.
I have the following choices. I am running a Swiftech Apogee GTz which sucks on this platform.
Now choices are below
1- Get the HK block with backplate
2- Get four Scythe Ultra Kaze 133CFM fans 120x38mm
3- Get four more Scythe Slipstreams 1900RPM 110CFM 120x25 mm fans for push and pull configuration. this option cancels out option 2 of course.
My rad is a HW Labs GTX 480. They are very restrictive with airflow and they cool really well with high flow fans. I dont know if I would be better off with just four of the ultra kaze (option 2), or just eight from option 3 in push and pull.
Also for push and pull does it have to be the same fans on both sides of the radiator? because I can get my hands on some fans that flow 98 CFM locally, if its ok I rather get them locally than buy them online.
Thanks in advance guys
