? on sata 2 and sata 1 are they compatible?

hello tech's i gotta ? i just ordered an ocz gameXstream 600watts psu and its sata connectors are sata 2 and my current HDD and optical drive's are sata 1 are they compatible pllllzzz get back oh and my email is dwightulrich12@yahoo.ca

afaik they should be fine, it's only the transfer speeds that is different? correct me if I'm wrong.

SATA2 (300 MB/s) is backwards compatible with SATA (150 MB/s). The power requirements are unchanged.

Yes, it will work.
One would have to worry only if they are going to use sata ii on sata 1 mobo, some boards may not recognise it, and some hdd may not auto switch to sata 1 (as i discovered today (03.00 xD), samsung spinpoint f1 jumpers are useless, only firmware flash...
