I just got HAWX today. Played the first two missions and I'm enjoying it so far

I love how well it runs with all the settings maxed with DX10.1 and 8x AA.

Played it lol. Got it free with my v card but found it to arcadish. Might be fun with others players just could not stop laughing having a plane with so many rockets lol.

Hmm I've never played a flying game before so.. I can tell it's pretty unrealistic, but it's pretty fun.

You have unlimited rocket's in HAWX?

Weak.....I thought it was suppose to be simlike but with some tweaks..

I've never played any sim fliers, but I do know my physics :laugh:

It's not realistic at all, but like I said, it's pretty fun. I'm playing the single player right now.

Doesn't have infinite rockets. Has infinite machine gun but thats it and its not meant to be a simulator

I don't watch TV at all, I don't have a TV or cable.

In game browsers are awesome i must say, stated using them in L4D and TF2, though these are the only steam games i have.

You know what,

I got into it a bit and did find it kind of fun. but if you are after some hardcore arcade multiplayer flight action, the flight element in BF2 pisses all over HAWX by an order of several magnitude. On the other hand however, I wouldn't expect to be able to hit a barn door (or avoid being spanked by other pilots) on BF2 with any less than 30-40 hours flight time (and on servers where everyone wants in jets/helis, getting that experience as a n00b simply is not going to be easy).

I haven't been playing much due to left 4 dead and cod4, but I plan on finishing it when I get time. I say it's worth it if you like flying games..

Its a an arcade flying game, not a flight sim.

Its decent enough for maybe 20 hours or so play but not much more than that in my opinion. Like I said in an earlier post, the flight element in BF2 pisses all over this tens times over.
