L4D Maps!

What you are Downloading are Packs with the latest Custom maps for L4D (Left 4 Dead). Due to the new Update release you can now Download these Maps but due to large amount of server activity it takes 3min. or so to obtain the Download Link. So, i had the idea of compressing the Maps in one File using a App. named 7-zip similar to Winrar or Winzip. Please excuse any Maps added twice. Don't worry if you accept to install again, it'll just over right the Map's Content

Note: these are only maps that i came across on L4D Lobby. Expect more Maps Later

[07/18/09] Currently creating L4D Maps 7 Pack which contains previous, Updated, and New Maps. L4D Map 7 is Uploaded!
[07/19/09] L4D Maps 9, 10, and 11 coming soon! 9, 10, and 11 are Uploaded
[07/22/09] L4D Maps 12 is uploaded! L4D Maps 13 and 14 Coming Soon

Bugs:

-Some maps don't show as installed. It's a bug or the Map is updated and the new Link hasn't been put up

READ FIRST.txt Updated Here:

Just Double-Click the Files and it'll install the Maps or Manually install Maps by dropping the .vpk File to:
C:/Program Files(x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/Left 4 Dead/left4dead/addons

Any Folder that contains Folders like Maps, Etc. copy/paste all the Folders except the readme.txt Files to:
C:/Program Files(x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/Left 4 Dead/left4dead

Any Folder containing a .BSP File copy/paste the Files to:
C:/Program Files(x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/Left 4 Dead/left4dead/maps

Note: the 1st File contains a READ FIRST.txt telling you how to install the Maps

You'll need 7-Zip or Winrar to open these Extension

what you're downloading are maps i have gathered for L4D. the new Update allows you to obtain the links for the Maps but it's a pain waiting to Download Them. So, i got the idea of creating these Packs.

ah, i would but i don't know any of the cheats. i use to though but it's been awhile since i've used it. i'm going to look around and search for them.

^I believe i did add it? excuse me if i haven't. that map never seemed to install for me. Death Aboard 6.1 installed correctly but not just plain Death Aboard. idk what's up. maybe it's a bug in the Installation listings.

If it's not that hard why not put up what the zip file contains.. Eg. Map Pack 1 - map names... So we can tell if we already have them...

Btw good map collection you got there mate

It brought back life to our l4d lans lol.

the reason i don't have a .txt explaining what Maps are what is because the Maps will be updated. some are Beta and some are Final. you'll see that i have some maps included twice. plus, i don't feel like doing it right now but i may later on. my Connection is only 3MB/768K so the upload speed is slow and it takes roughly around 10min to upload a 90MB File. it'll only get worse when i move to Alabama as where i'll be staying the Internet is really slow but that can be fixed with some money hehe. please understand for now.
