Well after my little adventure with unlocking a core on my 720 I must say my system performance has been less than stellar. Everything seems f#%ked up now.
However I am not sure if it was the unlocked core or something else causing my problems. I also installed DMC4 and Warhead. Both of which have their own DX9 files. I also set everything back to default when everything was running good. Still I had no luck.
Here are the problems I'm having.
1. DMC4 during gameplay gets these huge black and colored bars across the screen. They almost seem to "dance". I fixed this by locking the FPS at 60 and turned on V-sync. After that no issue.
2. Warhead during gameplay gets little black boxes all over the tree edges and such then the same exact thing happens as in DMC4 with the bars.
3. 3Dmark06 runs fine. Vantage however goes crazy at the "flag" benchmark. The flags are stretched all over the screen and the "Aztec city" test get choppy.
Also my restore point only worked once. Now it wont load anymore. When I try and open it the damn thing says its already open. No matter if I turn it off in the task manager or not.
Anyone have any ideas? Bad hardware or corrupt software?
