Its rumored that we PC gamers will have accsess to the new Batman game "Batman Arkham Asylum" this week. The 7th to be exact. As soon as its out Ill post a link here for your download enjoyment

Batman: Arkham Asylum Demo Due This Week

A downloadable demo of Rocksteady's detective comic brawler Batman: Arkham Asylum will be available worldwide this Friday, August 7, publisher Eidos announced today.

The demo will be available in three flavors--PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360--with the retail version of Arkham Asylum hitting the same platforms August 25. As the PS Store is usually updated on Thursdays, don't be surprised if the demo debuts a bit early.
The download, which kicks off as Batman delivers The Joker to Arkham Asylum, is said to sample the "Invisible Predator" stealth and "FreeFlow combat" mechanics, as well as provide a glimpse of the "infamous foes" players will face off against in the full version.

But I dont think Batman classes as a Superhero because he doesnt have any 'super-human powers' unlike Spidey, Hulk etc..........Batman is basically a vigilante isnt he

Well, He is a Comic Book Hero. He's known as a Superhero only for the fact that the abilities that he does have, are above any other "human". The abilities that he lacks Would class him as A "Hero" . But, he still was, Some cases say he was and some say he wasn't, one of the founding members of JLA. That's only because it wasn't till their Greatest Threat did he even care for what was going on. Yes, funded them, but he was for his fight, and his fight alone..

So, Hero yes, but that is one that will be fought for in years and years to come due to how in Comics they change the story lines so many times..

But, I go with my saying.. Can't be a superhero, if the world thinks your dead..

Well... He has the thing called "Brother Eye" to the fact that he knows everything. And reasoning of that, he is also disband from JLA.. That was the thing that they where showing in Batman: Dark Knight.. First testings of the product

To tell the truth, in the Comic DC side, the only thing that can defeat Batman, is Martian Manhunter, because of the fact that his only fear, Fire, is not a fear no more after he left JLA.. So, lighting a match won't fase him!

Little known fact. Spiderman for the SEGA CD had a big hair band do the music. The theme song was performed by "Mr. Big" This game was my absolute favorite game for the Sega CD.

That was a great game. All most all Spider-man games did get better reviews then any other game. I believe it's Ultimate Alliance and the Second Hulk game that you could even say was almost as big as the Spider-man games.. It's pretty sad... You had the card that where DC all ways got the raw end of the deal, and crappy cards, then also in Video games till This new Batman game... I can't say anything since my favorite Comic book char. is Iron Man

Once expected to hit alongside the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions on August 25, the PC release of Batman: Arkham Asylum has been pushed back to September 15 in North America and September 18 in Europe, publishers Warner Bros. and Eidos said today.
In addition, the pair revealed that the PC edition of Rocksteady's detective comic brawler will make use of the PhysX technology supported by NVIDIA's GeForce hardware.


Batman is now more physical than ever before. On the PC, at least.
"Supporting NVIDIA PhysX technology has allowed us to add that little bit extra to the PC version of the game," explained director Sefton Hill. "As Batman interacts with the world, the aging asylum creates a more immersive, believable world."

Though the retail release has been delayed, the downloadable demo is apparently still on track for tomorrow, with more on the PhysX effects following below:

With PhysX technology enabled, players can explore darkened corridors packed with volumetric fog which reacts to Batman's movement and cobwebs which tear with his passing. Combat becomes a maelstrom of motion as office papers are thrown into the air alongside soda cans and litter as Batman lands each punch upon The Joker's henchmen. Throughout the game, the decaying gothic architecture is realized to an incredible detail with wall tiles chipping and breaking, stone pillars crumbling upon impact, and particles from breaking glass and debris shattering and falling down around Batman's feet.

Hey, it's been delayed on the console before also.. Was suppose to be at last part of July at first.. Then pushed back to polish it... Pushed to the first week of September, then since the polishing was going quick, placed it to the August release.
