i'm redoing my 2 200gig 8meg cache 7200rpm sata 150 drives, and i was wondering what to set the drives to in a stripped array, 16k, 32k, 64k, 128k etc etc, i've got a lot of small files on my drives but i don't know much about those settings, any help would be appreciated

i'd just leave it at the default setting the nvidia raid bios sets it at (i'm going to assume you're using an nvidia chipset because of the dfi mobo + a64)

16K stripes are optimum and if you can do so, change the clusters to 16K also. Then you'll be flying.

Won't make any huge differences though ;)
