Hi guys,
What are the better memory settings for an i7 975EE CPU - Faster RAM (Say DDR3-1866Mhz with 8-8-8-22-1T timings) or tighter timings (Say DDR3-1333 with 6-6-6-15-1T timings) ? Or a mix of the two (Say DDR3-1600Mhz with 7-7-7-20-1T timings) ?
In addition, I've noticed that my CPU will clock itself down when under full load if I use the unlocked turbo mode multiplier with over a certain voltage (I assume this is the TDP protection kicking in - This does not happen if I overclock using BCLK increases rather then with the multiplier and keep the multiplier at 25 or below with turbo mode off). I've been wondering how to turn this off on the DFI X58-T3eH6.
Thanks for all and any help !
