well I just had a customer at bby and they really wanted someone to do a setup for them , but it s $149 for a pc setup, and 99 for a data transfer, and $49 for a printer setup. and cleaning the machine off (we dont offer that service at bby)

I told them i would for $150.

Setting up there new computer, setting up their wireless printer, and doing a data transfer plus a bs opti.

Im much more fair on price.

I’m an independent network admin/web/graphic designer for a non profit (among other clients) and my boss couldn’t wait for me to check his home computer so he took it to Microcenter. They didn’t bother to look to see if a driver was installed and they were about to charge my boss $225 stating they “couldn’t figure out what the problem was so they would have to reformat it”. Luckily I was in the following Monday and picked that computer right back up.

Blatant rip off! I know for certain that @ the Microcenter by my work there are 2 qualified A+ cert holding individuals who are too fat and lazy to actually root out a real problem so they take the extreme measure and do something completely unnecessary just to “make the company a buck”.

Effin retarded I always tell people to avoid using these corporate pieces of shit.
