Help recovering ISO image from fomatted USB!

Opps...I guess i formatted my USB with an ISO image on it that I needed (legal ISO before you ask...). I formatted my USB as NTFS and I was looking for some software to help recover it. Free preferably!

google for "undelete NTFS" or "unformat" tools.

there are hundreds of tools made to do it, unfortunately none i've tried ever worked.

Never used it myself but i've heard that recuva http://www.piriform.com/recuva works well

You can try Recuva, Glary Undelete, Disk Digger, Recover My Files (commercial), Get Data Back (commercial), Active Undelete (commercial). Google these. PM me for further help.

Using Zero Assumption Recovery trial version I was able to recover a lot of data from a RAID array that I had formatted.

I do not know if this helps, but it somewhat worked for me.

I use that one and it got the pictures back off my SD card when I formated it on accident.
