what up fellas.

alright my cpu usually goes up to 54C when I'm running my gaming and what not abd idles at 41C. I dont know if this is high but I dont think that this is low. Anyways I was wondering what the best way of cooling (non water) is. If water cooling is the answer is having it installed a liability because of the water factor?

Well those temps are pretty high actually and you prolly want to look at a aftermarket CPU cooler, What CPU do you have and what motherboard?

If it's an AMD, 54 is OK, a little on the high side, but that max is 65 I believe, so 54 is OK.

I got a amd 64 dual core 4600+ I've been lookin at this one

http://www.chiefvalue.com/product/productdetails.aspx?submit=&item=35-118-004&ATTFans Heatsinks Case

not sure tho. I'm tryin to get my temps as far down as i can so that my video card and computer performance will go up

also is water cooling reliable? I'm kinda sketch about bringing water anywhere near my computer

Getting a aftermarket aircooler wont really increase your performance at all, only temps will go down. Only if your overclock your pc.

Watercooling is only good if you plan on overclocking and its pretty reliable but expense.

my 7900's are gtx oc , they come over clocked so would my performance be boosted on video fps if I got that aftermarket cooler?

if you oc your cpu (which you should be able to do more effectively with a cooler cpu) then you should see some fps increase (i'm betting most everything is cpu limited with that kind of gfx setup! woohoot!)

Only if you overclock your gpu or cpu more, depending on which one your refering to.

If you willing to go watercooling, try a peltier module. I use a Swiftech MCW5002 on my rig, get around -7C bootup, max it ever goes with a game running is just under 13C, most games run it around 5-7C.

My cpu is a AMD64 +4000 Sandy, @3.2 atm, voltage on mobo holding me back a bit

Edit: Sry, my bad, lol, must b blind or summit, said on ur first post non watercooling :p

Just to add tho, if u do decide watercooling is ur only option and do go for a pelt, just make sure u use 2 x120mm rads :)
