Best Graphic Card with 500Wpsu

Hi guys, I've been wanting to upgrade my other rig with a new graphic card. It has a 500w psu and currently running a 9600gt with it. What is the best card available that runs with a 500w psu? All answers greatly appreciated.

what brand is the 500w? and how much you willing to spend and how many amps have you got on your 500W? the best graphics card i'd say for 500w be a GTX260 or a 5750 or 5770 and maybe a 5850.

thats excellent buy a 5850 and that 2nd desktop would be a beast,although a 5850 is probably better than your 8800 ultra SLI but if your not willing spend a lot then get a 5750 or something

You should be golden with a 5850 actually.

You could squeeze a few more FPS out a faster CPU but 3.2ghz will be fine and dandy.


I got my e5200 to 3.5ghz 24/7 clock maybe a better cooling and a higher overclock is in order?

Ok cpu is the same as the one im running in my main rig..except without the 4oomhz oc and im running an asus p5ql-se mobo with 4gb of ddr2 ram at 800mhz

you wouldn't get that much of an bottle neck and is this cheapest australian price for 5850 because i don't know any aus websites lol:

The price on the 5850 u linked me doesnt seem bad..ill see if i can find it cheaper at a shop like 10 mins away from my house. K thanx guys
