I love the TPU awards idea, I have a few good ideas if Panther starts a new thread.

Lay off Sol, he doesn't have the worst spelling. Maybe a FEW run on sentances and minimalistic view towards punctuation but really he's been extrememly helpful.

There needs to be a another point made, when members last logged in for that year, otherwise this census would be insignificant. I also believe that we don't need an awards system as a "Thank You" is more meaningful as it acknowledges that you helped someone. techPowerUp! doesn't need anymore competition here as that is covered by the Fan-boys here.

Sorry, no can do. We reserve the right to pick on anyone we want, and Sol's an easy target due to his "minimalistic view on punctuation". He knows it's all in good fun.

Just a nitpick: Bachelors are 3 or 4 years, not necessarily 4, depending on the location.

Yeah, 4 year degrees can be completed in 3 and 2 year degrees can be completed in right around 1. Point being: I think the number of years beyond general education are what's important, not necessarily the official name of the degree (varies around the world).

In the UK it would be:

Secondary school/college <-"BTEC", "GCSE" (and "A Levels" if you stayed for the extra 2 years)
University <- Undergraduate (can be anything between 3 and 5 years)
Masters <- usually one year
PhD <- Research paper so completely depends on what you're researching
