i dont see any way to connect hd audio to it so that the hdmi can pass dts-ma or true-hd ...

Any DDR3 GT220 card would probably beat this. DDR2 is just too slow for a 128bit bus for 48 shaders. 8600GT had 32 shaders and 256bit GDDR3.

Any DDR3 GT220 card would probably beat this. DDR2 is just too slow for a 128bit bus for 48 shaders. 8600GT had 32 shaders and 256bit GDDR3.

Actually, it had a 128-bit GDDR3 bus, not 256bit.

that is if the motherboard can decode dts-ma and true-hd which is doubtful. which means software has to do it and that would be pretty slow.
