I am barely overclocking my Radeon (I think, anyhow...) And yet, I cant help but watch it under an obsessive eye, even while playing games, for fear that my is going to melt into a puddle.

I know I should be concerned...but should I be this concerned?

How watchfull shoul I be?

Na your shouldnt be that concerned. You should test what OC levels are right for your card by watching it the first time you play. Once you know that your card isnt getting too hot, it should be right.

Plus, your card shouldnt fry after one OC. My card has crashed a couple of times (due to too much OC) and its still fine :)

Your overclock isnt too bad, definately not enough to kill something :p

Id say you can probably go a little more on memory, but im not sure on what memory the X1600's use (ive never had one before)

Well a long as your card doesnt get over 80*C under load, you should b right :)

Its ok, overclocking SHOULD make you nervious. The first times at least. It should be more fun than nerveracking, just to see how high you can go. If you kill your comp you can always rma some parts :D (not really)

Also, remember, a computer is a MATERIAL OBJECT. People should make you nervous and OCD like, not computers.
