GO for it guys! It doesn't look like we'll be able to get "full" stock of these cards for at lease another month or two... So, if you can get them.. go at it.. It's not like he bumped it to $400 since their out.. To me, it's probably on credit, so we all know how those cards are at this time... that'll pay for what he paid to get it.. Gotta look at the "BIG" picture guys.. Not the tag.

Yeah, there just needs to be some advertisement that a 5850 is faster than a GTX 285, plus DX11.

Folks. Today I received a message from someone I shipped with internationally. It seems despite my packing there were some items in less than satisfactory condition by the time it got to the recipient.

For the sake of people who deal with me internationally I hope it is understood that if you ask me to claim low value of the items that it is IMPOSSIBLE for me to insure the item beyond that value. If you want to save money on customs then be prepared to deal with boxes that look stamped, dropped, or mishandled. It's the holiday season and I've already gotten two stamped packages in the past month with some of the contents missing.

Yeah, there have been lots of scams going on with international shipping lately. Last year during the Xmas season, even sending a gift to overseas relatives was like crapshoot.

I've been told you can insure a package with a third party and still claim a low customs value, but like you I see that as a buyer beware situation. Ask to cheat the system and you must be willing to pay the price.
