I am planning to remove the case and fan of a xfx gtx 260...and also planning to place a Antec spot cool to cool GPU

Spot cool fan will not blow anywhere close to the amount of air as the gtx260 stock fan. I'd highly recommend keeping the original set-up as it blows the air out of the case.

Ya dont decide to cut it unless you want to mod the gtx 260. I modded my GTX 260 and cut a crisp hole on the heat sink side for a 120mm to be strapped on by wireties. I did drop my temps about 5-10c when the fan is on the video card.

I asked this because the gap between my mobo's pci e slot and pci slot is very small.if i am fixing gtx 260 it will block the below pci slot ...my all pci slots are occupied with cards....is there any way to make a gtx 260 in to a thin card...?

One way to do it cheaper than water cooling would be to get a standard sized atx motherboard instead of that micro you're using

There is a single slot non watercooling GTX260 heatsink but you it won't fit your card because of the position of the memory chips(maybe it can be modded to fit(probably not)), and you would have to find someone who has it from the card and is not using it

maybe you should've bought that instead.

maybe you should've bought that instead.

The only issue is that card isn't sold anywhere, at least in the US.

The cheapest way to do this will simply be to buy a full size mb. They are only about $100 for a new board, plus you can sell your matx board. An aftermarket cooler is going to cost you at least $50 and finding one to fit a single slot will be even harder. Not even sure there is one.

What pci cards are you using. Are they all necessary??

That will cost just a tad bit less than a different motherboard at least with a good fan. Not considering he may not be able to get it depending on where he is located.
