I just ordered a Storm Sniper black/black (KXN1) edition, someone tell me I won't regret this?

I mainly did it because I read it gives better temperatures than the HAF 932, it looks great, and it's got a built in fan controller + LED on/off switch. I guess my P180 Mini is going to be used for the family rig which is a long needed upgrade, that HP case pissed me off so hard when I tried to put an Antec TP 750W in it. I also ordered a black 3.25'' Scythe Kaze Ace from Petra's (it was on sale for $25) to go with it for kicks and giggles, I'll probably do push/pull with the TRUE and use it for that.

Before my buyer's remorse kicks in someone quickly tell me how much they love the case. :toast:

I just had a close look at one myself. It is exactly like the HAF922 on the inside, just black. The outside IMHO is more refined with the sniper, and is easily carried withe the top handles.

Downside... I broke the foot on mine. They swivel out to add support. I leaned the case just a bit with it in the out possition and it snapped right off, clean with the bottom of the case. They do provide rubber feet to replace the big plastic paddles if you want.

Oh and it seemed more quiet than the HAF922 as well.

 Where did it go? I was hoping you would get one for review and then sell it so I can score a deal as good as your 922/Solano!

If I see it up for sale at a good price I'm going to shoot myself, I would have bought it broken foot and all. :(

Anyway, anybody else feel TPU lagging? It's taking a little longer than usual (5 seconds or more) to load every page.

Its a good case, I ve got one on the way, but i think i ll change my mind and go for the haf 922 (maybe mod it and paint it black inside). I like the more industrial look of the haf, that's whats making me change my mind (and better airflow, of course). But anyways i aint decided yet.

Its a fine case i had a look at it myself but ended up going with something different due to personal preference; nice looks, mostly sturdy; is decently sized inside, functions like most other cases of a similar type overall pretty good.

It wouldnt be a bad choice of case just depends on minor things for most choices.

You won't regret getting it :D

I have the regular version and I love it. I sleeved all of the fan wires along with the front panel connections. I also ordered the windowed side panel which made it look a whole lot better, and put 2x 4" and 1x 12" blue CC's in it along with a 12" UV CC. Tis mah baby. I did replace the feet with the rubber pads that came with it, I never liked how the feet made it look.

Darksaber seems to like the Storm Sniper more than the HAF 932, he gave Sniper 0.2 higher than the excellent 932 in the reviews.

Well it has a fan speed control whereas the 922 doesn't, that's about their only difference aside from aesthetics. I'd say a fan speed control is worth 1/5 a point, or more :]

What does high quality knock out drugs have to do with a case?....J/k

Completely agree with this though, aside from the drugs:D The HAF922 and Sniper share the same frame, just the plastic is different, and the control.

Yes I know, but I misspent it and clicked the frost word it suggested.

;)

Back on topic here, the Sniper is badass and the only thing I ever disliked about it was its looks.

I dont seem to have that feature, perhaps it is an addon?

Noe, it has always came with it. Like right now in typing this message, "dont" and "addon" are underlined in your quote. It's only when typing something that it does it.

Great case and am using it right now...the black interior looks very nice. I had to paint mine myself. Very sturdy build and great cable management possibilities. I am sure you will love it.

Yeah, with the 200mm fans, either they're quiet and moving hardly any air or loud and still hardly moving any air :shadedshu
