I just wished i could play The orginial BF2! I start a game and about 5-10 min of game play the game randomly closes without a error or beep just straight to the desktop, I dont think it likes Win 7

Works great on my machine. There is a new update available (v 1.5) for free from EA which unlocks all expansion packs and weapons, maybe this would help. I have been playing a butt load of this game lately. If you get yours working, let me know, we can squad up.

With Gamestop the purchase won't be charged until the game ships out. Meaning you can reserve your limited edition copy now, receive a beta key, and if you dont like the game you can still cancel the order before March 2nd.

I dont know if this has been discussed or not, but I have seen the videoes and there seems to be a lot of yelling going on. I would like to know if this is context based, automated radio screaming, single player style, or if they are user initiated radio commands like CS say.

Any ideas? I mean an automated, but dynamic radio would be a rather new and personally exciting feature.

I mean this would blend the intensity of a single player (sorry but MW2) battle with the Multiplayer carnage....

Your thoughts would be appreciated, just to reassure me that im not a lunatic

No there is a lot of chit chat. Its like a step up from BF2 which had a lot of talking. Just not as dramatic.

There is a bunch of friendly and enemy chatter and it does help to increase situation awareness since the chatter on the ground is always relevant to whats happening. Knowing when people are reloading is a good example. I do feel that it's a little retarded at times and you will notice your player constantly screaming information that gives up your position all the time. Nothing is more annoying than trying to quietly infiltrate an enemy area, suddenly your teammate gets shot by a sniper and your respond by saying "FUC* WE GOT A MAN DOWN" at max volume.

This game is all about keeping a retarded pace throughout the whole round (because DICE figures we all have ADD) and the in game dialog definitely helps keep the pace.

Not always, I've done quite a few beta's w/o prepurchase. And really the deal at the gamestop link could be a gamespot thing. I prepurchased directly from EA for EA Downloader, I can leave my PC running that day while I go to work, initiate the download and install and be ready to play when I get home after work, at least I hope. I hope to get into the beta, I'm looking very much forward to playing this game.
