Interesting, but the 5770 which costs about 50% more will completely obliterate it.

Plus there are still alot of people that game @ 1280x1024 and this card will suit them perfectly.

Saw this earlier today. Any idea if there will be a review of it up here in TPU ? I'd love to see a review here, since the reviews here are top notch.

If the price drops on it a bit, then the HD5670 will be a relatively worthwhile buy for a HTPC to give it gaming capability. Power consumption is low and it packs quite a punch for its price. The best part is that it has support for three monitors. I might get one of those for my second rig just to get rid of the second video card I am running there for the extra monitors.

Well, assuming that the card is about $100, and 5770 is about $150

According to the reviews, 5670 is about the strength of a 9800GT and according to W1zzard's charts, 9800 is about 70% of 5770, so its almost a linear scaling, 5% towards 5670's favour though. I would agree that 5670 is going to be more widely adopted.

+1 on TPU review for 5670, its will be very comprehensive.

+1 on TPU review for 5670, its will be very comprehensive.

To me it seems the 5670 is better than the 9600 GT but not by a whole lot and only beats the 9800 GT in syth benches generally.

if it comes out at a decent price (~£60-70), which is likely considering hd57xx prices, it'll be a killer card. Considering it does beat out the 4670 fairly well (+50% in dow2 and crysis), still doesn't require pci-e power, and includes dx11. I can see it selling bucketloads, i'm assuming it handles blu rays quite well too.

I'll definitely be looking into this card when i next build a computer for someone (unless it's a true gaming machine).

Overall i have one thing to say: bye bye nvidia's mainstream.

Nonetheless, this will be a great laptop chip.
I hope it gets as many design wins as the mobility HD4650.
