i just start finding little things to tweak with mine once te full build is up, change the color of the water hose, sleeve the psu, get rid of clamps and get compression fittings... oh and then there is the htpc route, i'll build one of those here in the next month i believe

Honestly, you need a toy.

Save up for a rig as others have suggested. Buy cheap used hardware and beat the livin piss out of the parts. Dont skimp on the PSU tho, make sure you have the juice to bring the pain. That way if something releases its magic smoke under the stress of your vengence, its win win. You didnt loose much, as you got it used, and its time for a new toy

BTW MM, I'm with you on PRD. I ended up buy a $40 MSI board and $90 P2 X4 805. Why? IDK, I wish I knew. :cry:

Now I need to find 4gb of ddr3 cheap and that's proving to be a challenge. :banghead:

For some reason about week after i get anything new...i get bored with it. Hell i transfer cases every couple of months just so i can break my rig down and reassemble it

i suppose my dream job would be working for ibm assembling super computers, i dont even want to test them, i just want to put them together :pimp:

I'm in the same miserable boat. I've been thinking about assembling my old parts into a folder/cruncher to bide my time until my next major upgrade and relieve some of the pent up boredom. It also helps to huff spray paint and shoot at my neighbor's cat with a slingshot, not necessarily at the same time or in that order.

How do you know his neighbor's cat isn't tearing up his garbage, or in some other way causing trouble on his property? If an animal is causing trouble on my property, there is violence against it to ensue, regardless of what kind of animal it is. The bigger the animal, the bigger the weapon.

Yeah I know. But for what I dont know. My system runs great (knocks on wood). I can't justify building anything new. I'm just bored. Thats all there is to it.

That's why I mod or buy stuff for my pc one at a time, I buy a new part each month, that gives me time to think "has it brought my experience to another dimension?" I wasn't so keen on modding but lately I've fallen on love with painting stuff

Everything that's "paintable" is sprayed on sight. I guess that's stopping me from doing a whole system overhaul, well, at least for now!

Even though I don't game much on my pc, I'm trying to figure out my next video card and deciding if I should get a new sound card with an SPDIF header (my Elite Pro doesn't have it!)...

Went from a G5 mouse to a Sidewinder. My mousepad is leather! Thats right bitches.....LEATHER! My headphones are these......

So yeah they cost more than my monitor already. I have sever PRD. What would be the equivalent to Prozac for a PC enthusiast?
