Do we want Title-Mods that fix thread titles?

I'm always fixing spelling and grammar in thread titles because it gives me eye cancer.

so i'm wondering if it would make sense to enlist a couple of forum regulars who keep clicking "new posts" every 5 minutes to fix the thread titles ? it's just double click thread title, enter new text, click outside of the edit box that appeared. so very fast to do without page load or anything.

maybe there could be additional low-risk capabilities and this could be used as some kind of stepping stone to moderator status ?

i ended up customizing vbulletin's code for this feature so can change it to whatever we need

Giving the ability to change titles in the BST Forums as well is a great idea. It will surely help take some of the load off of the Mods. When can I start?

I don't see why the current moderators can't do this for the sections they moderate? I actively make titles more appropriate when need be. I also see no problem with people changing their owm B/S/T thread titles.
