Yeah I completely understand what you mean about they way their mouths move, I didn't mention it because I figured everyone would think I was crazy. But mouth animations still have a long ways to go, with cinematic cameras though I watch body language, just makes a conversation feel so much more real, but when I'm playing Fallout, I'm staring nasty Moira right in the face and it just makes me angry, blink lips flap, blink, blink, fake looking smile, lips flapping, blink, blink.
I try to keep captions off though, I also like a dialogue wheel with basic responses, like "Yes", "No", "I'll think about it" Then when you pick one, it's not just "yes" it's your character talking with some personality, like "hell yes, thats my kinda fun" or something like that. When I read my entire response before I choose it, I get bored, would rather be surprised and actually want to listen to what they say rather than read what I say and what they say (what good is sound then?)

I rushed out and bought Oblivion, never really enjoyed it, was a great concept, but had no fun factor, did the same with Fallout 3, same result. I wish they would change the camera angle for dialogue, I love the idea of the game, and looking at pictures I always like how they look, but the game play seems bland.
