Oh never knew that. Wouldn't that require AMD and IBM working together to pretty much create a new cpu ? It would need new pins and shit like that.

There appear to be 4 memory chips around the CPU/GPU (with the heatsink removed).

This would be quite interesting imo. I'd like to see a slot loader like the ps3 and a redesign of the front panel and faster cpu/gpu speeds.

Developers have to stick to the lowest common denominator. There is a reason clock speeds have never (correct me if I am wrong here) been altered when hardware is trimmed down.

Yes but games like MW2 can be quite choppy so even with a bump in clockspeeds it would help in some games which can be choppy.

based on what I see, it will be a slimline dvd player and a internal hdd seeing as their are 2 sata connections, this is definitely a test board because all the headers are added, those headers won't be on the final board,

the front connectors are 2 usb ports and the ROL connection
the back connectors are power, standard video, hdmi, network/usb, memory cardx2(maybe), optical
the left connection(yes its pointing left), probably a connector for natal to stick on the the top of the xbox or more internal space is missing???.

Just bought an eggbox. The new one, kinect bundle. A bit noisy IMO. Is there an easy mod for that cooler? Thanks for the pics BTW, saves me from opening mine up out of curiosity and losing warranty.
