ASUS Readies Latest Motherboards for Upcoming Six-Core Processors from AMD

ASUS today announced a full range of motherboards that are ready to support the upcoming six-core AMD Phenom II X6 processors to herald a new era in ultra-powerful personal computing. The AMD six-core processor-ready ASUS M4 Series motherboards deliver maximum performance on a mainstream platform. Good thing I'm not a huge fan of Asus, there are absolutely no value (785G) boards on that list.

That list can't be correct. ASUS has more 790FX / SB750 mobos that support AM2+ with AM3. Luckly I stick with my MSI

I don't think its true. Asus first likes support the new processors on their top range boards, and later the rest.
For example m2n-e, it's an old am2 board (introduced in 2006 i think), still got p2 x4 support this year.

So i expect much more mb on that list later...

** ASUS continues to add new models regularly to take full advantage of this new technology, please check back here often for updates.
