The default is 1gb. 512mb would be a cut-down version.

And at your resolution, I'd get 1gb.

yeah the 512mb loss is no where NEAR made up with $20 saved.

go with 1GB - if there is any chance you will crossfire , just get a 5850 now. a reference board can overclock to be more powerful than a 5870, at the cost of 2x5770s

The reasons why I asked this question:

1. My 4850 512MB single card plays comfortably at all high @ 1920 x 1280 resolution. The new cards being bit more powerful should be playing it comfortably (my thought)
2. 4850 sucks loads of power, that is the reason I am not even using a spare 4850 in CF even tho the board is capable of. Worst case both cards at max together might suck up 300W.

These 5750 and 5770 seems to be more energy efficient and as powerful or better than the 4850.

58xx - good try, I am never in my life going to spend that kind of money on hardware (atleast on a single purchase) lol.

I wish the 5750 Green is cheaper than it is now.
