I know that the 9400GT graphic card can hndle the HDTV 1080 resolution the problem is the frequency I cant find. I'm interested in buying the new LED Asus screens that has hdmi plug but when you put the videocard at 60hz onwhat ive tested at local store the image is still high definition but shrinked. In fact i wanna know if the nvidia geforce 9400gt ddr2 pci-e 16X can handle the 75hz or stuck at 60hz max. ?
No iwont buy any other card before you compulsive upgraders tell me! ;)

It's not the card it's the screen that can't handle 60hz

The card itself wont go over 60hz its written inthe book of the mobo builder (asus) the screen can handle 60hz and below and above that. whe nthe video card can handle it the screen will be at 75hz full size. It is the specs of that screen and need to roll at this 75hz 1080

Benchmark Scores Don't believe in benchies I prefer actually using the PC
sometimes if you find a modded driver they can force the card into different resolutions or frequencys, i got a modded ATi driver for my old 9200 as the resolution does not go as high as 1680 * 1050 however this isnt guranteed but worth a try

Don't understand what the problem is here?

Under Change resolutions in the NV Control Panel just Add Resolution. I mean I can only speak for my Laptop's 8400M but I can "make up" whatever resolution I like.

Ok let me be clear. The video card on my mobo can handle the high resolution but not high frequency. f it handle the 1080P on HDMI it will be shrinked due to lack of highger frequency. if I had the 75Hz abvailable on the integrated graphic it would be full screen size. Frequency is imporant for some screns like it was on cathodic screens in the past years. Since the Hz frequency is limited to 60hz on my radeon hd4200 onboard i wanted to know the max frequency that can handle the 9400GT.
If you still dont understand that then its sure that you wont be able to give any useful answer.

LUCKY FOR YOU i have a 9400gt hidden in a cupboard in its box never opened rofl. Here it was it says.

MAXIMUM REFRESH RATE (Hz) TABLE
at 1920x1200 at 32bbp=16.7Mcolours its 85Hz refresh rate.
Then at the highest possible it can handle (2048x1536) its still 85Hz so it should work:)

You asked if it can go over 60hz but you say it says in the manual it can't ? Kind of answering your own question but the card can handle a refresh rate upto 85hz like others stated.

I said for my onboard graphic card is in the manual. The 9400GT frequency was not even on the website. I was wondering for the 9400GT just to not install it and realised it still cannot handle the 75HZ.
Thank you Infernox for the information.
