hanns-g monitors??

i am thinking about getting a new monitor and i was wondering if hanns-g was any good.

I am not really a fan of this brand-
My brother had one and it died.. under warranty.. sent it back and got another.
then right after the warranty ended. It had a green line about 2 inches wide down the left side, that has never gone away.
My friend had one, and it burned up also.

So I have not had good luck... but mabey it is just me.

I've heard good things about em. That monitor in the link you provided looks great.

doesn't have display port.. but at least it has HDMI..

I say go for it. I would buy that one if it were me.

Yeah, like shevanel said, on paper, it looks a great deal, @ a good price too. Specs good, now it only goes to brand quality etc and that my friend, its up to you. 3 years warranty is always good too.

hanns-g is decent. Not great but certainly not bad.

yeah true.. i noticed that some time back too.

I could give a crap about DP really... I dont even know why i mentioned it (like it was a bad thing) lol

I have a 22" HannsG that has been working very nicely for over two and half years w/ no problems!
Still use it all the time, just not as my main monitor.
