I played FF online for like 5 years.. I would never allow people to take advantage of me, unless it's a woman and even then there are guidelines.
Basically Blizzard said "hey their dumb, they'll pay whatever we say it's worth"
and they sure enough did. It's a slap in the face when I see companies get away with this crap.

it's a really nice looking mount, but $25 eh i'll past. rather have the blizzard bear or the other rare mounts. my server is full of these mounts... of coarse people getting on alts to show off this mount at lvl 20+ lol today i got a few screenies. There was a mount train going around dal, about 20+ people. then about 10 just wondering around lol

Check out the current active WOW subscribers, add up those monthly fees, see what they gross on that in a year, more than enough to pay for WAY bigger servers then they have and WAY bigger lines, and then some nice bonuses to the upper level guys.

I no longer play WoW, but in the 4 and a half years I did, I ended up knowing over 20 people (people I know in person, not in game), that played the game, and none of them were under 18 years old. Seems to be a common misconception with the game.

That guy belongs in a class all his own. Infinity is a upscale brand on Nissan, you buy Infinity to say "I have a nice car", not to say "I have the run of a mill Nissan". It's just like Acura is to Honda, or GMC is to Chevy. That guy is just stupid, yes the mount and that steering wheel are for aesthetics, but the person buying the mount is getting something they didn't have before. Where as that guy is going out an buying an Infinity, which costs more money than an equivalent Nissan, then he is spending even more money to dumb down his better car to fit in.
