Go to the VAC forum of steampowered.com and read up on all the threads of people who said they weren't hacking. I'm not retarded, I just know that VAC only bans when a hack is detected so someone was hacking while using your account. Whether is was you, or someone that has access to your account, or even someone hacking from their own account on your machine. Bottom line, hacking was done.

Valve won't unban you. Your account is blocked from playing any multiplayer game that uses VAC as the anti-cheat software, but it's only games that use the IW4.0 engine.

Comon guys! hell i have a nice 6 digit that is banned for hacking but it wasn't me that was hacking. my steam account was stole while i was deployed to iraq and the bastard decided to hack on it and after going through steam to reclaim it, it was banned and even tho i was serving my country, steam told me "sorry cant help you" so i know were hes coming from. the vac system needs to be re defined and re evaluated cause i say if you get banned you should be banned for a certain period of time then a SECOND CHANCE period should come along and then if you banned a second time then it should be perm. I had a valid reason why mine was banned and still they didn't care if i was in outer space or something. they weren't going to reverse my ban.

I wouldnt say were jumping to conclusions when were just stating the obvious... he got banned for cheating, that can fall under hacking/editting a config. Steam is usually really good about not banning people who dont deserve it. so im not gonna side with him

um well ,i hate cheaters , i mean ok - you want to cheat , go play singleplayer / lan with bots whatever, knock yourself out . Don`t mess with other players that actually want to have some fun fragging . I got my steam account banned but for other reasons / yea and i didnt get a straight answer , i dont know why i got banned ( just don't expect to have your steam account unbaned , trust me it wont happen )

Thing is that copied and pasted ban statement says it was a hack. I'm sorry but one way or another a hack came from that user. You have kids or something? someone that could of jumped on the pc and hacked?
