CoolIT Systems, leaders in advanced liquid cooling technology, announced today the full support of AMD's new Phenom II X6 with the award-winning ECO ALC liquid cooling solution. Gamers and multimedia enthusiasts on a budget can now combine the raw power of the Phenom II X6 with cutting-edge liquid cooling technology from CoolIT.

"AMD has raised the bar for affordable performance in the new Phenom II X6 with advanced capabilities like its Turbo Core Technology" remarked Geoff Lyon, CEO of CoolIT Systems. "ECO ALC continues to hold the highest performance to price ratio of any liquid cooler currently on the market. When you combine these computing and cooling technologies, the performance results are tremendous."

Newegg is currently offering ECO as an accessory for AMD's Phenom II X6 processors for $74.99. For more information on the ECO and the rest of CoolIT's lineup visit this page.

That's the one thing that bothers me about H50.

I think I have read somewhere on internet a review where it showed that H50 was a bit better and was quieter...

+1

Theres no apparent reason besides bad design that puts the outlets from the cpu to the inlets on the rad not run from the top... would be so much tidier!

Review from TweakTown It didn't do as good as i would think for water, got beat buy some Air cooling(AKA Noctua NH-D14 But cost $90) But its a tough choice the CoolIT SYSTEMS ECO-R Water Cooler $75 but $7shipping OR CORSAIR Cooling Hydro 50 $80

Temps in C
CoolI ECO Idle-51.3 Load-55.1
Noctua NH-D14 Idle-47.3 Load-54.1
Corsair H50 Idle-52.7 Load- 55.3

Sound in dB
CoolI ECO Temp Idle-54 Load-68
Noctua NH-D14 Idle-33 Load-51
Corsair H50 Idle- 52 Load- 60

I don't see why there idle temps are all so high? my computer idles at 28c Load is 55c but it is only doing 3GHz

Yeah, I suppose they thought that seeing the "ECO" logo was more important than convenience for the customer, lol.

here is another review (I was particularly interested in this one since I own IFX-14):

Not that its easy to find, or cheap

But, the recentely released revision of the Danamics LMX liquid metal tower cooler is extremely promising in terms of capabilities - outpacing all other cooling rigs short of a full water-cooling system (not these closed-system mini ones). Issue is that it DOES cost something like almost $200...

From what I saw in reviews, I thought the new X6's run so cool you hardly need fancy cooling at all. :p

I feel these mini water systems are a waste. I'd actually rather go air. If you read the Xbit Labs review, the IFX-14 beats the H50, let alone this. I'd rather just buy a Noctua NH-D14. It would perform better for less noise than these mini h2o loops.

Sometimes you cannot use massive tower coolers. And that's where these mini water cooling systems fit it. They perform the same, yet they are like half or third the size on CPU itself.

you do realize Tweaktown tests all coolers in a 40 degree ambient temperature? IF I was into frustration I would buy an H50, ask Paulie, he will back that up!

I did not know they would do a crazy thing like that:wtf:, should do normal temp of like 25c or something

In the midst of summer when you are about to game in a non-climate controlled atmosphere, what would you gess you internal case temp is at? Form just throwing a thermometer in mine, with extreme OC's on air, my case gets near there all the time.
