I think i am going to stick with crossfire.. I know i will eventually pick up a second card, and then do some crossfire between them. As for the Ram.. Yea, i think it was a good find.. then i realized i can't use it with the board i had originally planned to go with. This board.
Then i found
Kingston Technology Kingston ValueRAM 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit System Memory - Retail. A good friend of mine swears by kingston, and it's only abotu $10 more, so not that bad.
BUT if i do decide to go with the cheaper ram, i'll look into the board you suggested. Thank you for your input.
Right now i am look at Sound Cards, and debating if i want one or to stick with the motherboards sound card. I am only getting a 3-set speaker system to go with my 2 speakers already.. SO 4 speakers, and 1 sub.. And i believe both boards can support that.
get the hell away from kingston , you can get better ram for a cheaper price than kingston
AM2 is the future, and i advise it for personnal experience, but if you don't want, then i can't do nothing
