how about pny brand?

I'm deciding wich card I'm going to buy (5970, 5870 or 480) but I have found in a shop a 480 from pny brand. I know they do mainly quadro cards, wich that can be a good reference, but anyone here had any pny card? Any opinions about that brand?

IMO - Pny makes good stuff - the last card I owned from them (GeForce FX 5900 Ultra) is still running strong...

I owned a PNY 9600GT for a while, overclocked decent enough. Might check their warranty and or customer service reviews. BFG, XFX, Evga, and Asus all have really nice warranties with good customer service.

Nothing wrong with PNY. Reference NVidia cards are all the same to me. PNY, XFX, BFG, EVGA, Zotac etc etc etc. Buy whatever card has the best warranty or a good price.

From what I've seen, they're a perfectly average to good brand. You have to offer something special like XFX's and EVGA's lifetime warranties or Asus' RoG stuff in order to stand out among the crowd of manufacturers. Although they may not offer anything to stand out with, I'm sure their products are about as good as any other brands'.

I had a PNY nVidia card a really long time ago. It was good and probably still works today. Gave it to a friend years ago.
