You'll love it crossfired. I've got two others in another rig. They render like nobody's business while at the same time not trying to literally melt your board as did the stupid nVidia cards to a couple of my boards.

mainly i want to test an issue with my 4870's, where i get nasty flickering if Vsync is off.

I wanna find out if its the mobo, or the cards.

Interested in that 285 though. Is that the base model or one of the SC, SSC, FTW models?
How old is it? Was it registered? And how much would shipping be to Limerick, Ireland.

I would guesstimate around $25. I'm kinda new to shipping over seas so I don't know off hand. The card is probably 3 months old, never registered. The P/N is : 01g-p3-1180-ar, EVGA 01G-P3-1180-AR GeForce GTX 285 1GB 512-bit DD....
