Is there any way to make the sights when you are gaming dual monitor work a little better then having it right where the screens splits : )

Would not think so, better option is triple monitor. Depending on game you MIGHT be able to use one screen like normal and the other for the map for example but tends to be more for flight sims like KA-50 were you can use 3 displays for different things.

Well if I had hook up for three and another decent monitor that might be an option

yea gaming on dual monitors is not going to be fantastic, 3+ seems to be the best option

and gaming on 3 screens requires ATI eyefinity, so its not possible with his hardware.

if theres a few games you play a lot they may work with softth, any vid card will work for the 3rd screen.

edit - it may also work for 2, you just wont have a left or right screen.

There is another option dunno about the pricing (TripleHead2Go) though but last time i looked it was expensive but that was before eyefinity came around

i forgot about that.

bonus to that is that it only needs one output plug from your video card.

They do, but the OP was asking about for FPS games and the issue where you get your aiming crosshair cut right down the middle between the two screens.

that would suck so bad. I wouldn't be able to play with that issue. yesh 3 monitors is much better. just make sure you use a hi-res mouse.

so I can't use my GF8800GT for 3 displays?? I can only use 2??

wonder how good the FOV would be though. That's a concern.

until ATI's 5K series, you could only use two monitors at a time (without the help of the matrox triplehead)

Actually this is an older set up then the one on my specs.
It is a P4 with a 9500 GT. Yeah I'll just use the single
screen while gaming. Thanks
