Right, just invested in an mATX board, so this needs to be gone basically.

Never been modded in any way, never pushed too hard with voltages or anything - this board really is the dogs danglies. Overclocks my Q6600 like a champ.

New this set me back £120, and it still looks like new - Im after £50 for this as they are being sold for far less new now, but this is still a cracking deal.

Hit me up for any additional details, I also have a Gainward GTX 260 (With AC Accelero GTX 280 Xtreme cooler strapped to it) and a Silverstone Fortress FT01B-W coming up for sale very soon, so PM me about those too.

Might I note, theres a patch of dust just below the cpu socket, thats not burn damage or anything just dust. And eagle eyed viewers will see the little heat sink on 2 of the voltage regulators, that was a spare HS that I had when I installed my Accelero, its just stuck on for the sake of not throwing it away.

Really shouldn't be on a pillow dude, put it on some foam or a box but not something that can cause a static shock.

Is this board significantly better at overclocking quads than a p5k standard?

yes, it deffinitely is. I had an ASUS P5K Premium Black Pearl Edition, it got flakey with my Quad and this has trooped on solid with no issues what so ever.

A sound investment if you ask me.

I'm just asking for a friend who has a q6600 that won't overclock that well on his p5k. I'll ask him and see what he thinks.

A sound investment if you ask me.

Of course you'd say that  :p

EDIT: talked to him and he said no, sorry :(

No, it really is, I never trash talk my own items, it has a reputation amongst many as an overclocking monster, and at first glance you'd never expect it.

Bump! :D

right im bumping this, im in need of funds so it needs to go! Ill cut people a deal - im wanting £100 for my fortress, £50 for this so if anyone wants both, ill do a mega deal of £130 shipped for both!

Ill be adding pictures of the fortress tomorrow, finished swapping over to my Maximus Gene and my P180, so they need to be sold!

Also, ill be listing my GTX 260 with the accelero Xtreme 280 cooler on it - £90 gets you that!

Wow, sweet deal.

If i didn't have a desk, P5Q-E and 5850... i'd be tempted, lol.

Someone snatch this.

Any pictures of the new setup?
