Dual monitor issue with 4890s

just tried connecting a second, lower res monitor to do some multitasking but with no luck.

tried all 3 free dvi ports and clicked on Detect Displays in catalyst.

is this due to cf or semething?

Did you reboot after plugging in the second monitor? I used dual monitors forever including with a 4890 Crossfire setup.

Edit: Both monitors must be connected to the same card.

I did it with a single 4890 without rebooting.

Is it necessary with a cf setup? That sucks. lol
