[WTB][US] EVGA 680i or Comparable 775 Board

As the title state's I'm looking to grab an EVGA 680i board, or something comparable to it. PM me with some offer's.

The board has to support Intel Qx6800

Nothing 680i based will support that processor, at least not properly. The 680i chipset didn't support 45nm quads, they couldn't handle the 1333FSB speed reliably, so official support wasn't added.

You need a 780i/750i based board if you want to use that processor.

If you can RMA the failed board you have to eVGA they might send you back a 780i replacement, that is what they did for me.

Yeah, this thing worked fine for a while, I didn't think anything of it. Well any 775 board thats comparable and is 45nm compatible I'll take.

They won't take RMA..I never registered the damn board...stupid me.

I actually have an old EVGA 680i SLI board, not sure if it still works though.(not sure if i want to get rid of it though)

And of course as mentioned, no support for 45nm quads with the 680i chipset.

I actually made an error, its a qx6800... Don't know what i was thinking been to hot out the past to days...fried my brain. Its the older 65nm chip.

Oh ok, that should be fine. I actually still have a 65nm QX6700 laying around that i used with the 680i board.

And ya, it's hot as hell outside.
