BioWare and Electronic Arts have announced Dragon Age II, the sequel to Dragon Age: Origins. Dragon Age II is scheduled to release in March 2011 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
The game will take place in a new area of the world, although the exact location has not yet been revealed. It stars Hawke, a human hero who rises from poverty to become one of the most powerful people in the Dragon Age world over the course of the game, which spans ten years. Although there will still be multiple races in the game, Hawke will be either a male or female human.
Beyond this basic information and two pieces of concept art, Bioware has said little about Dragon Age II. We'll be able to learn more on July 17, when the first trailer for the game will be released.
Well, as the title says, Bioware and Electronic Arts have announced Dragon Age II to be released in March 2011. Again, it will be released on the PC, PS3, and XBox 360. There's not a lot of info yet, but it's good to know we'll be getting it rather quickly. Here's the link to the article: http://www.rpgamer.com/news/Q3-2010/070810d.html
EDIT: I just checked out the official site and it looks like the article I posted might be wrong about when the trailer will be released. According to the official site, the debut trailer will be on August 17.
