Where are the second hand Quad cores?

Hi all

I live in Australia, and I would love to buy a second hand Q9505 or better.

I would have thought that with socket 1366 there would be plenty of them for sale?

Anyone know of where I can get one, that would be great.

I think there are a lot of people that are sticking with their 775 quads because they are so bad ass, and still hold their own very nicely.

australia has a shit second hand market. sellers want 5x what its worth, and buyers want to pay half what its worth.

just do what i do, and buy from someone here on TPU.

Thats kinda what I thought, they are that good, they dont need upgrading.
Thats great for them, but I feel my E8500 isnt keeping up with my bad company 2 addiction.

Anyone willing to sell one? 12 cache prefered

Yep, to tell the truth, I'd still be on my 775 X3370(Q9650) if it wasn't for the fact that I couldn't sell the P55 FTW 200 board, and Microcenter had 875K processors for $200. And really, I could still live with the older X3220(Q6600) for gaming if I didn't do so much video encoding.

when 1366 FIRST came out people sold their 775 45/65nm quads like hot cakes, then most bought them back or bought new ones and are not re selling.
