WTB Black 2-way Flexible SLI Bridge..... Looking for a good price. I am switching to the Green team most likely. In case my cards don't come with SLI bridges.... I am going to need one. Since I know EVGA is notorious for not sending them with.

So if anyone has one.... I would appreciate it.....also if anyone is interested in doing a trade for a 100mm Xfire bridge.... I might be open for that too.

But I would most rather just buy one out right.

Pm Me thanks...:toast:

SLI Bridges are the responsibility of the motherboard manufacturer.
Crossfire Bridges are the responsibility of the graphics card manufacturer.

I don't know why it is like this, but it has been this way since the beginning of SLI and Crossfire. So it isn't that eVGA doesn't include them, it is that no nVidia card comes with them, eVGA includes them with their motherboards through.:toast:

You used to be able to buy the black flexi bridge direct from eVGA on their site for $10 Shipped. However, now it seems they only have the ugly brown flexi bridge for sale(and I agree the color is ugly). I wonder if the black ones were too expensive to make, since all I've ever seen from anyone else is that ugly brown...

They must have been.... because even looking around to buy one out right from a store. All I can find are the ugly brown ones.

It's bull.... I would use the one I have but it is made by MSI. And the thing is like 20 miles long. So I would have this big ugly bump in the middle between the two cards. I don't want that either. LOL

Well maybe someone will have one.... otherwise the least ugly brown one I can find is at EVGA.

I always tucked the bump in between the cards, made it less noticeable that way.:)

I've probably got 2-3 of the black ones from the EVGA SLI motherboards I have bought. I will take a look and post back if I find them (if someone hasn't come through yet).

Well I found one hard 3way SLI bridge (black) and 2 orange/brown EVGA and MSI SLI 2way flexible bridges. I know my P55 SLI came with one, I will keep digging :D

You think it would have to be shipped in a box? Or would a padded envelope do?

That works great on the hard un-bendable ones, but on the flexible ones the paint hardens and starts to break off.

I would have the same worries too. Plus I always feel funny painting anything.... like computer parts. Even though it might look nice.... I am soo anal about the inside look of my case. It would drive me nuts.... until I got a black cable anyway.

I think they sell cans like rubber cement with a brush for a bit less, there is the blue version at the very bottom. Just an idea, but I'm sure you will find other uses after this to offset the cost;)
