I'm in the same boat too. Oblivion and Fallout 3 were so good for me that they spoiled any other rpg I attempted to play :/

I spent many many, many hours playing Morrowind.
Not the graphical quality of Oblivion, but has a more surreal feel to it.
100+ hours and big expansions too.
Plus, just like in Oblivion, you can collect useless crap ... like pillows :rockout:

+1, morrowind is my most played game ever. it also imo has the best game world i've seen so far, expansions included.

Owned and beat it on the 360, after you beat it theres nothing else to do because of square's poor choice to not include free roam :banghead:, but thank you :toast:

I know that feeling, Bethseda needs too get New Vegas out sooner :D

Lol, i did play morrowind, stuff was really hard to follow because there was no arrows and you had to go by descriptions. I've just played Oblivion way to much (where to the point i had to go on tesnexus and get mods for it to be fun) and can't stand morrowind with its confusing story line

I liked Morrowind *better* than Oblivion because of the way quests were described.
Made it more interesting to try to figure out where the hell to go.

Morrowind NPC : "Head North to the tree and then go left until you see it."
Me : See what?
Morrowind NPC : "You will know when you see it."
Me : WTF!?!?
Morrowind NPC : "May the Gods guide you."
Me : What Gods?
Morrowind NPC : "You will know them when you see them."
Me : :wtf:

That is the most perfect way to describe EVERY quest in that game.

Morrowind is old, but still damned fun. I had over 140 hours on it one winter. There was literally not a single quest left to do. Mount and Blade is a good RPG to try out.

amazing game and the community made quests are amazing some of the authors are incredably talented. i reccomend all the expansions and spacifically. the Shadow lors dream Catcher and Deamon campaigns (all one story) user made quests.

Thanks man the last remnant looks amazing :toast:

Im hooked on ME2 right now :D I was going to suggest it but he said swords and shields

Yah i tried mass effect once, i didn't like it, it did remind me of KOTOR though, which is one of my favorite games :)

140 Hours? I've had 40 at most on that, oblivion though i've had about 80-100. I'll look up mount and blade and see what it looks like.

Have you tried mass effect 1 and 2?

1, not 2, although i didn't like one, 2 seems like a graphical and story line improvement. :rockout:

If you didn't like 1 I would doubt you would like 2. The graphics are a little better (I played 1 on X360 and 2 on my PC) but a lot of the textures are still awful.

Most importantly the gameplay is nearly exactly the same as is the structure of the game/storyline. I thoroughly enjoyed ME1 so more of the same with some minor tweaks is all good with me :D

I don't know if you have played Lost Odyssey yet but that's a great turn based RPG for the XBox 360. I second the comment about checking out The Last Remnant. Although I recommend the PC version more than the 360 version. Better options and it runs much more smoothly.
