No longer need this since the system it was cooling is now dead : [

Great performance given the size of the thing, bit iffy aesthetically but hey, this was probably cooling a crazy OEM system which didn't have a side-panel window ;)

Height from base 10cm ( give or take 2mm) Total Length (excluding mounting hardware) 12cm Width 7cm .

The size of the fin array its self is 7cm(L)5.5cm(H) and 7cm(W)

As you can see, I've changed the stock push-pins to screws, because they're AWESOME. Comes with a backplate : ]

Could do with a polish as you can see!

Comes fitted with an AMD stock 70mm fan how ever will include the fan that came with the heatsink .

Which is an ADDA 70mm by 25mm fan. According to the label at the back its 12v 0.42A and has the Model number AD0712UB-A7BGP

Price
: Due to the nature of the heatsink ( it not being retail) I'm not sure how much to ask for, so will take best offer : ]

this was probably cooling a crazy OEM system

I recognise that; I had to fix an OEM PC earlier this year, it had one of them with a shroud so it took air from the front vents on the case (mobo was mounted upside-down).
I'll get my Dad to have a look and get in contact tomorrow if it's still about.

Thanks :toast:

Remember what brand the machine you were handling was?

If I could get hold of more of these with a bit of modding I could make some coo bits.

Hell if I had the right size screws the mounting bracket attach with 43mm spacing so I could stick this to my 5770 if I wanted XD

After Googling, it seems that it wasn't actually an upside-down mobo, it was a custom OEM mobo, similar to the one pictured in this thread. Notice how when installed in a case, the CPU will be close to the front vent.
I think the one I worked on was a Gateway GT5028 or similar.

isnt that regarded as the BTX form factor? my old dell use to be exactly like that ... the case fan doubled as cooling for the heatsink too.

Bingo!

I was going to say it looks exactly like an OEM BTX cooler. Wish BTX was more popular, I liked the layout and idea behind it.
