I played some Beta MOH on Steam...didn't seem all that different from MW2 or BFBC2. Is this beta on PC or console?

Edit: Found it to download on PC. 1.6GB is going to take FOREVER to download over the wireless connection!

I hate my life...downloading at an average of 280kb/sec. Didn't want to buy a massively long Ethernet cord so i got a USB wireless adaptor. FML.

Meh...game still doesn't impress me enough. Might as well say that DICE copied Activision with this game. Nothing new, nothing exciting.

I played 5 or so rounds on an ultra tiny map. Action was good and it got my heart going. Very reminiscent of BCB2.

Damage model seemed off to me. One of the guys on the other team was dumb enough to keep showing up in the same spot during one round. I had no problem slapping his face with my M16 but that wasn't enough to get a kill (reliably) it seemed. Additionally killing someone with the M203 means landing the round directly on them most of the time.

There was a satisfying number of flanking options but there were random invisible walls. I found a fantastic route that gave me a perfect firing line into the enemy base but the last stretch of it threw a warning that I was leaving the combat zone-- By a matter of inches!

Most people were pinging badly (except me). The end of round summary screen seems awkward and difficult to navigate to me.

Obviously it's a beta, but these days a beta is just another name for "exactly the same as whats being released." I'm looking forward to trying a larger, more crowded map.

I've been playing it a bit and i really like it....but then again i like to run and gun..no sneaking or tactical bullcrap..just plain old dm.....

I got about 5MB/s, far from maxing my connection.

Anyways, it is kinda fun, but the levels are too compact for me. I like my levels roomy. IMO, the best beta I've played the recent years have been Crysis.

I played a few hours and i must say... i have never sawn a game that was that beginner unfriendly...and hacked after 4 hours after the beta release. some guys seem to hit you head over and over, even if you cant see a sh** in all that smoke. leveling takes painfully long, even in the beginning. Of course Players that played for a longer time, till they got the sniper scope, have a severe advantage over you, that cant even see them, because its not really beneficial using a reddot on a sniper.

i could say, i liked both MW2 and BFBC2... but this game is a poor ripoff of some of both,in my eyes. I really cant say i find it better, or even in any way "New"

I was unimpressed the first game I got into had a hacker that could teleport every single player to one spot and then rocket us all no matter where we happened to be on the map. If a game is that broken even in a Beta release it needs some serious help, a game shouldnt be that easy.

I agree on that leveling thing. Some servers seems to have everyone on max though.

Otherwise all of these "gritty" warshooters are basicly the same imo, so that's not very suprising.
