XFX just hated the 470/480 cause they been too late VS the HD5k and badly optimized product.

The GTX460 / GTS450 are big money cards so i think XFX are better to sell Nvidia cards again

is it e or are XFX products poorly cooled?
for e.g. this cooler isnt looking fit enough for the job!
same for my 4650!
it gets 70C! when my Phenom II overclocked stays at less than 50C!

GPUs typically run hotter and have higher temperature tolerances anyway. Your 4650 is probably reference cooled as well.

The stock cooler works great on GF104. Your experience with the GTX465 is GF100 and we all know the issues there. I'm sure GF104 had a "little" something to do with XFX coming back to Nvidia.

Why not ? Perhaps the problems were quite different ... Who exactly knows ?? Maybe Radeon cards for XFX was a little test to see how they sell.

meh...little too late. If they would have came out the same time as the other 460s that would have been great but the card is only clocked at 625 nothing sets it apart from some other lifetime warranty vendors. specially since other companies have been coming out with 800+mhz cards.
